Green Industry Pesticide Applicator Training

Pesticide applicator training is for individuals who wish to be licensed to apply pesticides in the state of Wisconsin. Training includes a review of pesticides, pesticide laws and regulations, safe handling, health precautions, emergency planning, proper pesticide application and responsible pesticide use. Because certification is specific to the type of application being made, 20 commercial applicator certifications and 6 private applicator certifications exist to give applicators focused information. Certification must be renewed every 5 years.
