Coreopsis beetle - Calligrapha californica coreopsivora
Description
Adults are 6-7mm long and have brownish-black rotund bodies with yellowish-orange parallel stripes on the wing-covers.
Damage
Adults feed during the summer months on host plants causing skeletonization damage to foliage.
Remarks
The coreopsis beetle is a leaf beetle (Family Chrysomelidae). Products used to control other leaf beetles should provide similar results when used to control the coreopsis beetle.
